- 15. Verhouding tot andere netwerken CIVINET = CIVITAS National Networks. Maar: CIVITAS lidmaatschap of ervaring is niet nodig om lid te worden! Is geen concurrentie van Eurocities, POLIS, UITP etc! CIVINET gaat om een nationaal netwerk, info- en kennisuitwisseling in het Nederlands, maar wel gebaseerd op de CIVITAS benadering THE CIVITAS INITIATIVE IS CO-FINANCED BY THE EUROPEAN UNION

- 17. Wat krijgen gemeenten? Een evenement in hun eigen gemeente waar zij andere steden een succesvol, innovatief mobiliteitsproject kunnen laten zien (kan zijn in de vorm van technische sessie, ronde tafel discussie, site visit etc) Concrete, bruikbare kennis uit andere Nederlandse gemeenten door het delen van ervaringen uit de praktijk (voor projectmanagers / beleidsmedewerkers) Kennis over best practices uit Europese (CIVITAS) projecten in de Nederlandse taal. Toegang tot naar NL vertaalde resultaten van de 65/200 Europese CIVITAS steden, per mobiliteitsthema. Informatie over openstaande en aankomende Europese calls (dwz subsidiemogelijkheden) inzake duurzame mobiliteit, plus hulp met het vinden van geschikte (buitenlandse) en indien gewenst bij het schrijven van het voorstel. Een grotere kans om in een volgende CIVITAS call (open in 2014) geaccepteerd te worden als CIVITAS stad en EU subsidies te ontvangen. Vrij toegang tot groot jaarlijks congres over duurzame mobiliteit met verschillende technische, thematische sessies. Uitbreiding van het eigen netwerk op het gebied van verkeer & vervoer Mogelijkheid tot studiereis naar buitenlandse CIVITAS steden THE CIVITAS INITIATIVE IS CO-FINANCED BY THE EUROPEAN UNION
- 18. Wat wordt van CIVINET steden verwacht? Duurzame mobiliteit hoog in het vaandel hebben, interesse in innovatieve projecten van collega-steden (zowel nationaal als Europees), ervaringen willen uitwisselen in het Nederlands Bijwonen van bijeenkomsten die georganiseerd worden die CIVINET in andere Nederlandse CIVINET steden organiseert (3 tot 5 per jaar) CIVINET vertegenwoordigen op evenementen van derden Een politicus afvaardigen naar Political Committee dat 1x / jr bij elkaar komt. Politici spreken dan bijvoorbeeld over gezamenlijke be誰nvloeding bij totstandkoming EU beleidsdocumenten (CIVINET stuurt standpunt naar Europese Commissie). Afvaardiging EC is hier soms (gedeeltelijk) bij aanwezig. Ambtelijke afvaardiging aan Management Committee (iemand van afdeling Verkeer of Internationale Zaken bv), dat 2x per jaar bijeen komt en besluit over de te houden evenementen en thema 卒s, nieuwe leden, externe representatie vh Netwerk, goedkeuren communicatiestrategie) THE CIVITAS INITIATIVE IS CO-FINANCED BY THE EUROPEAN UNION

Besides coordination, TNO is also responsible for process evaluation within CIVITAS POINTER. In that role TNO has intensive contact with all CIVITAS Plus cities. Agentschap NL (NL Agency) (Associate Member). Agentschap NL is partner in the support action CIVITAS VANGUARD within CIVITAS Plus. Within the consortium NL Agency is responsible for training (e.g. on ITS and company travel), Thematic Workgroups and results exploitation workshops. Within CIVITAS Vanguard they work together with several city networks which they can use to support CIVINET Nederland, like Polis, ICLEI and Eurocities. Furthermore, as national focal point for FP7/FP8, NL Agency is involved in advising cities that would like to participate in new CIVITAS demonstration projects. NL Agency is part of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation. It acts as the main contact point for businesses, knowledge institutions and government bodies regarding information, advice, financing, networking and regulatory matters. Agentschap NL is also part of Alliance for Mobility Management. The City of Utrecht has expressed the intention to join the Network after CIVITAS Plus has ended (Autumn 2012). Utrecht signed the CIVITAS Declaration and is currently involved in CIVITAS Plus (CIVITAS MIMOSA). Vereniging Nederlandse Gemeenten (VNG) Association for Dutch Municipalities. Has expressed interest in CIVINET Nederland and will support the Network. Kennisplatform Verkeer en Vervoer (KpVV) Dutch Knowledge Platform for Traffic and Transport (also part of Alliance for Mobility Management) has expressed interest in CIVINET Nederland.

Even though they never participated to a CIVITAS city project, Eindhoven is a very active member of the CIVITAS Forum and one of the front runners in the Netherlands in the field of sustainable urban mobility. The city participates in various European projects co-financed by STEER, FP7 and Interreg programmes, many in the field of sustainable transport. DTV: Research and Consultancy office (50 employees), Traffic and Transport, Education and training, International, Over 25 years of experience DTV Consultants has a long history in CIVITAS. First as a Coordinator of CIVITAS GUARD (2005 2009), the horizontal project designed to support, monitor and evaluate CIVITAS II. Currently, DTV Consultants intensively supports the City of Utrecht in the MIMOSA project, part of CIVITAS Plus.
