As the slide depicts we are privileged to be GE’s largest and oldest Jenbacher distributorThe journey We were approached by the Austrian trade board in 1994, as were a number of other companiesJenbacher AG as they were known back then were looking for a distributor for the UK marketLong story short, Clarke Energy were selected due in the main to our focus on aftersales service.This was a major coup for us, being some of the other suitors, were considerably larger in terms of scale and financial muscleWe worked with Jenbacher AG until 2003 when GE acquired the businessGE acquisition brought scale, investment in new production facilities along with world class manufacturing techniqueThough it also presented an opportunity for growth provided you had the right ethos and appetiteJim set our ethos from day 1 and it was non-negotiableSome 25 years later although the size and scale of the business is almost unrecognisable Going forwards the company has the next generation of leader in Jamie altough the principle foundation remains unchangedEthosTotal customer focusDeliver on our commitments at all timesAdopt a can-do attitudeIf there are problems address them immediatelyOur business has enjoyed significant growth post GE’s acquisition. A large contributor to this growth has been down to our values which both ensures and drives long term performance
