Erika Pardo will teach a two hour English lesson with the following structure and objectives:
1. The lesson will include a 15 minute warm up, 10 minute introduction, 40 minute presentation, 20 minute practice session, and 30 minute evaluation.
2. The objective is for students to learn the verb "to be" in order to make simple sentences in affirmative and negative form, as well as yes/no questions. Students will also learn common contractions.
3. Vocabulary will focus on emotions like happy, sad, and furious. Students will also learn about cultural information.
4. Techniques will include introducing vocabulary, making sentences with "to be", reading dialogues, student practice, and creating their own

Stages of the Lesson
Warm Up/Review: (15 minutes)
Structure: Personal Pronouns; (I, You, He /She/It, We, They)
Introduction: (10 minutes)
We are going to see the use and the form of the Verb to be, such as affirmative and negative forms; also we are
going to see how to make yes and no questions
Presentation: (40 minutes)
2. 1. Introduce vocabulary: The T will teach the Ss some words about the emotions, exemplifying each one of them
in order that they could understand better.
2. Introduce them verb to be in affirmative and negative form.
3. Make sentences with the verb to be in affirmative and negative form and the emotions already seen in class.
4. Read the dialogue given by the teacher in the class, first the teacher will read the dialogue, then each student.
5. Each student has to read the dialogue aloud, and the teacher will correct every mistake they do.
6. Have the students read the dialogue in pairs.
Practice: (20 minutes)
1. Having the students practice the dialogue with their own information.
2. Use the activity Fill-in-the-blanks to practice more the verb to be
Evaluation (30 minutes)
1. In pairs the students have to create their own dialogue, using the verb to be and the emotions.
2. Co- evaluate the activity Fill- in- blanks they did.
