This document contains questions about factors that could lead to educational underachievement and the usefulness of parents' evenings. It asks the student to explain how five factors - lack of school uniform or sports kit, lack of privacy or quiet place at home, poor diet with no breakfast, poor attendance due to illness, and no attendance at nursery school - could negatively impact education. It also asks the student to list reasons why parents' evenings may or may not be a useful way to measure parents' interest in their children's education.
