Cloud computing involves delivering hosted services over the Internet rather than on local devices. It differs from regular hosting in that services are sold on demand, users can have as much or as little of a service as they want at any time, and services are fully managed by the provider. Cloud computing allows applications to be accessed from anywhere via subscription and separates applications from infrastructure, allowing servers to be shared by multiple applications.
