The document compares the trailer for a film project to the trailer for Cloverfield. Both trailers use news reports to provide exposition, but the Cloverfield trailer only uses 5 seconds of news while the author's trailer uses the majority of the trailer for a news report. The author's trailer also varies from Cloverfield by offering an enigma to the audience rather than showcasing destruction from a monster.

Cloverfield
1. Cloverfield: Institutional Logo stutters as if it was on a TV screen.
My Institutional Logo offers the same element just focusing more on noise.
Cloverfield also uses a news report to offer exposition.
2. The way my trailer offers exposition through its news scene is by making a majority of the trailer the
news report, compared to the 5 second of news that the Cloverfield trailer uses.
My trailer varies from conventions of the Cloverfield¨s trailer at this point, in that instead of
showcasing the destruction that the monster of the film has caused, I instead go for the approach
where I offer an enigma towards the audience.
