- 14. Hewlett Point Beach 130 Hewlett Point Avenue Hewlett Point beach is a place where you can swim or you can play on the playground. You can hang out with friends at the beach. Lots of people come to play and swim Jenelle Gordon
- 16. Villa Maria, 81 Main Street, I think they have the best pizza. My favorite pizza there is caprese. The people who work there are really nice. They serve really good food there. In the summer they have really good ices there. At Villa Maria they also serve chicken rolls. Amanda Loyer

- 20. Jeannie’s Bakery, 59 Main Street Jeannie’s Bakery is a very good bakery. They sell Italian bread and delicious cookies. My favorite thing they sell is the sprinkle cookies. They have all different colored sprinkles. My second favorite is the chocolate chip cookies. I recommend you go there. Katie McMahon
- 22. Centre Avenue School, 55 Centre Avenue The building is host to approximately 310 students in kindergarten through sixth grade. They have Hall Monitors and provide an after-school program. Leslie Madera
- 24. Long Island Railroad, Ocean Ave & Atlantic Ave , East Rockaway is a railroad serving the Long Beach Branch of the Long Island Rail Road. The station was established in 1880 .However, the original station house has not existed since either 1942 or 1951. The Long Island Railroad can take you to lots of places like, Penn Station, Manhattan. It is also is wheelchair-accesible.
- 26. Carvel 439 Atlantic Avenue. Carvel is an ice cream store that sells ice cream, milk shakes, and other frozen treats. Tom Carvel created the ice cream store after his ice cream truck suffered a flat tire and he began selling his melting inventory from the roadside. The milkshake is the best product they have I also like the vanilla ice cream. Emily McLaughlin

- 32. East Rockaway Grist Mill Woods Avenue. The Grist Mill is a place of things from the 1700’s and the 1800’s. Grist Mill has a little creepy stuff like the guy with the gun, but it’s fake. Liam O’Neill
- 34. Five Star Gymnastic,21 Ryder Place, Brook and Reggie work there, The building is filled with obstacles, people that work there, and kids to learn gymnastic. I used to go to Five Star when I first came to East Rockaway and I was in kindergarten. My friends love to go to Five Star and my cousin works there. I LOVE FIVE STAR!!!!!! Tatyana Romero
- 36. The Dance Space 55 Main Street People go to dance. They have dance recitals and perform at the Huckleberry Frolic every year. Jillian Schaefer
- 38. Pathmark 492 Atlantic Avenue. Pathmark is a supermarket and a pharmacy. It’s very big. They have great deals and prices. Also, they have a lot of stuff there like food, drinks, snacks, and bathroom supplies. Sofia Valdebenito
- 40. Rolling River Camp 477 Ocean Ave. It is a summer camp. Counselors teach you how to roller skate and it is really fun. Labelson Valdez
- 42. East Rockaway Fire Department. 469 Atlantic Ave. The firemen put out fires and risk their lives for us. If there is any emergency, they do not wait. They put their clothes on and rush out. Brandon Velasquez
- 43. Jack and Jill 23 Front Street. Jack and Jill has lots of nice teachers. They also teach all different kinds of things. They teach science, math and vocabulary. It is such a wonderful school to go to. I hope I can get to go there again. Nicholas Zappala
