What’s Up with UpLift?Positive life change for at-risk youth. Colorado UpLift offers a comprehensive solution to the needs of inner-city young people. Dedicated full-time staff members work with students from fourth grade through young adulthood.

Our ApproachEffectiveness through relationships. Mission:Building long-term, life-changing relationships with urban youth.Vision:A city transformed by new generations of urban leaders.

In SchoolTeaching character, leadership and life skills for success. In select Denver Public Schools, elementary through middle-school students take the UpLift elective class once  per week.  High school students attend class five-days-per-week as an elective course.

After SchoolMentoring for life change. Staff members spend hours mentoring students outside of the classroom through after-school events and activities.

AdventureGrowth through challenge.UpLift students participate in year-round, outdoor activities that develop leadership, resiliency and teamwork.

Post SecondaryPersonal advancement through higher education.Students are taught the value of college, instructed in the admissions process and given UpLift information to pursue their dreams.
