The advertising world revolves around the principle of
attraction. Whatever the product, in the end, the
advertisement should attract the consumer.
 Its essential to use colours to project an image of the
product.
Colours used in ads help in depicting a certain mood.
Colours help in providing personality to a product.
 Purple is the luxury color. It is also
royal, mysterious, alluring and an
uncommon colour in nature.
 High quality in its elegance, its often
used to attract women, who find the
color irresistible.
 Because of its costly appearance, it can
affect perception of bargain hunters,
while at the same time giving quality to
cheaper products.
 As a result, purple is overall a regal
mark of the feminine; with teenage girls
 Here, the colour purple depicts luxury as well as
seduction.
Purple also gives a feminine approach to the ad.
