1) Students from England, Spain, and Finland have gathered on stage to recount their experiences from a two-year international legends project where they learned about each other's cultures.
2) They will perform scenes about legends from their home countries for the audience.
3) The students have learned that modern society still reflects the heroes and villains of ancient legends, and they each pop up to share one thing they learned from participating in the project.

1. Comenius script: Opening.
(Everyone comes onto the stage, nationalities intermingled, chatting to
each other. A medley of voices, talking about the trip to England/
Whitby. Each person sits in designated position.
A main narrator from each country stands up.)
Finnish MN: (In Finnish)
Spanish MN: (In Spanish)
English MN: ( In English) Welcome to our friends from England, Spain
and Finland. In the last two years we have all been lucky enough to take
part in the International Comenius L egends Across Europe project. We
have travelled to Spain, Finland and now here we are in England.
(Students begin to pop up into a standing position. They speak their
line. They then remain standing.)

English MN: And we are so delighted that you are all here tonight
(points at the audience round the circle), to hear about our adventures
and what we have learned about each others legends, heroes and
villains.
2. Finnish MN: (In English) So sit back, or as we say in Finland, ottakaa
mukava asento (Finnish translation for sit back).
Spanish MN: (In English first), Relax, or as we say in Spain, Tranquilidad,
tranquilidad!(Spanish translation).
English MN: And enjoy, as Shakespeare would say, the two hours
traffic of our stage, in other words, our performance. Dont worry it
wont be that long!
(Lighting change. Spain and England sit in designated areas. Finland take
the stage.
Spain performs
England performs. Round of applause. As audience clap, all students
move back onto stage (into circle) and sit back in their original
positions.)

English MN: We have learned that the ancient heroes and villains that
we have heard about have a counterpart in todays society.
(Students pop up onto their feet with one final statement about what
they have learned from the project. One example is below.)
