Commander Arun Jyoti joined SIPS in April 2015 after serving 22 years in the Indian Navy. During his naval career, he held several key positions coordinating both shore and sea-based operations, and providing strategic oversight to senior navy management. He has extensive operational experience in the navy's submarine and ship fleets, and managed integrated submarine and ship repair programs. Since earning his MBA and Master's in Strategic Studies, he has worked at the Ministry of Defense coordinating technical support, operations, and managing contracts with global defense companies.

- 1. P R O F E S S I O N A L P R O F I L E Commander Arun Jyoti has joined SIPS wef 13 April 15. He served the Indian Navy for 22 years till 31 Dec 2014. In his appointment at IHQ MoD (N), he coordinated both shore and sea based operations for the Indian Navy. He was also tasked with providing strategic oversight to the senior management of the Indian Navy. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE In his 22 year Navy career, Commander Arun Jyoti has been a result oriented technocrat with an eye for detail and achieved extensive operational targets for the Indian Navy. An alumnus of 02 premier Joint Defence Services institutions of the Indian Defence Forces viz. National Defence Academy and Defence Services Staff College, he has served with the Indian Navy’s Submarine & Ships fleet in various capacities. During his Naval tenure, he held various key appointments including Chief Electrical Engineer of Naval Submarines, Project Manager for integrated Submarine and Ship repair programs including HR & IR, procurement/key technical support/liaisons billets at Naval HQ as well as responsible for generating strategic insights to meet future challenges. He was appointed at IHQ MoD (N) post his PG at Defence Services Staff College. Since then he achieved complex tasks in both technical support/operations and has extensive experience in Contract Management with the Global OEMs. He also achieved multiple targets and overcame critical bottlenecks of foreign equipment management with COTS/ indigenous resources. He also inked 14 multimillion dollar Global contracts of both Capital and Revenue Routes including 02 first of its kind MoD Contracts. His focus areas are lean processes, networking/liaisons, maintenance/program/plant management and critical operations with an aim to enhance the operational value of assets. He has also contributed to social causes by launching a Social Awareness Programme in the insurgency prone State of Manipur and has managed a premier Resident’s Welfare Association at New Delhi wherein he brought key social changes. He has established a niche network of 13000+ and growing alumni from Armed Forces since 2008.
