A Commercial EPC is an energy performance certificate that estimates the energy usage and emissions of commercial buildings based on an asset rating. Commercial EPCs are required when selling, renting, or constructing commercial property in the UK and must be provided to prospective buyers or tenants. Exemptions include places of worship, temporary buildings, and some agricultural structures. Commercial EPC assessments are done by qualified assessors at levels 3-5 depending on the building complexity and can be modeled using SBEM or dynamic simulation.
