What is Group Cohesivenessand Groupthink?cohesive groupsmembers generally pull together and agree of major issues.(i.e.) the nature of the task or goals they hope to achieve. Group cohesiveness provides the bond that holds a group together.
In a cohesive group all members work hard together, are satisfied with what they do, respect one another and equally invest in achieving a goal.
When all members enthusiastically agree and accept each others ideas, the group could be victim of groupthink.Too much cohesion tends to weaken individuality and often deprives the group of independent, critical and creative thought.Communication within the group is much more extensive
