This document outlines plans to modernize the Palisades Neighborhood Library in Washington D.C. The design phase will be complete in fall 2016, with construction starting in winter 2016-2017 and opening to the public in fall 2017. The project team includes the D.C. Public Library, MCN Build, and Cox Graae + Spack architects. The proposed redesign will increase public space from 35% to 65% and decrease staff space. It will feature new entry, children's, and meeting areas along with renderings of the concept design.
