While actuaries help people with retirement, healthcare and finances, the profession also involves stress from analyzing financial risks and lack of prestige from few understanding actuaries' roles. However, the author chose actuarial science as it aligned well with active profession sectors and found fulfillment in their studies.

This study evaluated whether continuing dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) beyond one year after drug-eluting stent placement reduces adverse events. It was a large randomized controlled trial comparing aspirin + thienopyridine to aspirin + placebo in patients who had completed one year of standard DAPT. Continuing thienopyridine therapy until 30 months reduced stent thrombosis and major adverse cardiovascular events, but increased moderate or severe bleeding risks compared to placebo. After analyzing and chose the course of Actuarial Science. The Actuaries work in various branches which occurs measure risks (insurance, pension and other things) .As every profession has its positive and negative points. For actuarial have as strengths the fact of helping people with their retirement, health care and finance and also the rise of the profession in the labor market. But there are negatives of profiss?o.The stress generated with the financial risk analysis and the lack of prestige, since few people actually know the role played by actuaries. Finally, I chose to study actuarial science because read very well with the profession sectors of activity. I love very much my studies and want to achieve fulfillment in the profession I chose.
