The document discusses two photographs taken to capture two characters in a scene. For the first photograph, the photographer aimed to show both characters and the situation by taking the shot from below and looking up. While this provided the intended perspective, the lighting was not ideal. The second photograph used the same low angle but came closer. This image better follows the rule of thirds and frames the subjects effectively while still providing context of the scene through the second character's visible arms. An edited version of the first photo would introduce the scene before displaying the improved second photograph.

Photograph 1:
For this photograph, I wanted to show
the both characters at once, but also
give a sense of what the situation their
in feels like. One character is swinging
on a ledge and looking up. I took the
photograph from below, and looked
up, to give the effect on a point of
view shot - while still showing both
characters.
I think this has worked on some level,
but I’m not happy with the lighting of
the photograph.
Photograph 2:
For photograph 2, I used the same
technique of shooting from under the
subject but came in much closer. I
much prefer this image because it
uses the rule of thirds and fits the
frame better. I also think leaving the
arms of the second character still
gives a view into what’s happening in
the scene. An edited version of the
above photo would be displayed
prior to this one, to explain the arms of
the character below.
