Conflict is a predictable social
phenomenon and should be channeled to
useful purposes.

 Organizational Change.
 Different seats of Values.
 Constricting Perception.
 Lack of Trust.
 Personality differences.
 Threats to status.
 Imbalanced Leader
 The competition over scar resources.
 Ineffective Communication.
Explanation of Sources
 Organizational changes:
Conflict arises from organizational change. any
kind of technical, political and social change
creates conflict within the organization
 Different sets of values:
people hold different beliefs and different value
systems. Their ethical values may lead them in
different directions. So there will be a clash
among them.
 Contrasting perceptions:
People perceive things differently. an
experienced person can realize the originality of
a fact. A younger cannot perceive the real thing.
So contrasting perceptions creates conflict.
 Smoothing:
It Involves accommodating the other partys
interest. When a party or person can realize his
or their misdeeds or mistakes, they can solve the
conflict.
 Forcing:
This the stage bitter competition between the
individuals or groups or parties, Both of them do
not conceder the interest of opposite one.
 Compromising:
This Strategy reflects a moderate degree of
sacrifice for self and others. They co-operate one
another. They are willing to give up something in
exchange for something else.
