FORT BRAGG AREA OFFICERS SPOUSES CLUB CONTINUING EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY General Eligibility Requirements and Definitions for All Scholarship Applicants A. For the purposes of eligibility determination, the Fort Bragg Area is defined as the area within 50 miles of the boundaries of Fort Bragg in any direction. B. All Applicants must have a current United States Uniformed Services Identification and Privilege Card (military ID card). C. Active duty and active duty reserve service members are not eligible for the scholarship. Eligibility for the FBAOSC Continuing Education Scholarship Program A. The applicant must be the spouse of an active duty or active duty reserve service member assigned to Fort Bragg community or the spouse of a retired or deceased military officer or enlisted service member whose last duty station was Fort Bragg. B. If the Sponsor transfers from Fort Bragg during the year of the application and the Applicant remains in the Fort Bragg area, the Applicant will be eligible for the scholarship. C. The Applicant must have applied to and been accepted to one of the following programs: 1. A vocational or technical program leading to a degree; or, 2. A two or four year undergraduate program leading to a degree; or, 3. A graduate program leading to a degree. D. If the Applicant has previously been awarded an FBAOSC Scholarship, they are not eligible to apply again.
