A man pushed an elderly neighbor into a lift as the witness and his father approached their lift lobby. They were concerned for the neighbor's safety so they pressed the emergency stop button to halt the lift between floors and called for help. When rescuers arrived, it was discovered the man meant the elderly neighbor no harm and was simply helping her return home after she became lost and confused.
