- 11. Blackboard Updates Course Open and Close Dates Courses will automatically open Monday, August 27, 2018 and will automatically close January 31, 2019.
- 12. Blackboard Updates Drag and Drop When faculty create content items, assignments, and web links, they can drag files from their computers to the "hot spot" in the Attach Files area. Students can also drag files to upload when they submit assignments.

Blackboard Updates Submission Receipts A submission receipt is captured at the time of submission and includes information such as attached file information, date, time, etc. A receipt is generated when an assignment is submitted. For assignments with multiple attempts, students receive a different number for each submission. Students receive submission receipts in their Coppin e-mail. Faculty view from the Grade Center.

Instead of downloading student- submitted files to view or edit those submissions, you can view those files inline, (i.e. in the web browser).
- 15. Blackboard Updates Send Reminders from the Grade Center Faculty can send email reminders from Grade Center columns to students and members of groups who have missing coursework. Students receive a system-generated email that lists the course, coursework, and the due date if included.
- 16. Blackboard Updates Enhanced Statistics for Grade Center The Column Statistics page displays statistics for a grade item, including average, median, and standard deviation. You can also view how many need grading and how the grades are distributed.
- 17. TurnItIn Updates Print and Downloading Similarity Reports Students can now print and download their text-only Similarity Report

TurnItIn Updates Instant Similarity Reports for up to Three Resubmissions Students can now view their initial Similarity Report, then revise and resubmit their work up to three times, without having to wait 24 hours for an updated report. After three resubmissions have been made, the 24-hour report generation wait time will be restored. This feature is only available if resubmissions are enabled for an assignment.
