1) Students from SK Lubok perform a choral speaking piece entitled "Mother Nature" to entertain judges, teachers, and friends. 2) Through the choral speaking, the students describe their environment changing from a place full of greenery and wildlife with clean air and water, to an increasingly developed and polluted place with loss of trees and fresh air due to factories and construction. 3) While some students feel development is important, others feel nature is being destroyed. In the end, the students call for protecting mother nature through going green together as Malaysians.

CHORAL SPEAKING MOTHER NATURE A very good morning to The honourable judges, loyal timekeeper, teachers and all our fellow friends, We, students ofSK Lubok For the first time,will entertain you with Our choral speaking entitled Mother Nature. All: We got the whole world,in my hand. E-A-R-T-H (individual) Earth! A planetwhere we live in, A place we call home. 1st : Full of greeneries 2nd : With lots of animals. 3rd : Aww~~cute!! All: Green, green! Everywhere is green! Trees,here and there! Trees everywhere! *inhaled deeply* Ahh~~fresh air We love it! Look! A river! Wow! The water is crystal clear! Individual: I can see my reflection in it! Like a mirror! Look! Fish! All: The water is very cool, Refreshing! Individual: Eww!!! What is that smell?! All: *sniff* Phew!! It really stinks here! Its chocking us! Oxygen! We need oxygen! 1st : *coughing* Where does itcome from? 2nd : There! Look! Up in the sky! Its a bird! 3rd : No! Its black smoke! Hey! Isntthat a factory? All: A factory? Hmm.. What do we need a factory for? It only ruins the fresh air! Individual: We need factories to develop! 2nd : Yeah! Develop! Individual: Progress first!Fresh air later! All: *shaking heads* Sigh~ The air is no longer fresh We want our fresh air is back! Fresh air! Fresh air Fresh air! 1st : Do my trees have all gone? Oh why, oh why 2nd : *Tsk* It is called deforestation dear We need to clear the woods It is blocking our way From building an Shopping Mall! Five star hotel! 3rd: Waa Thats great YAHOO!!! All: Why do we need to destroy the green? It looks very ugly now! What will happened To all those cute animals? Oh no! The water! Its muddy! Individual: My reflection! HOI! MOVE YOUR CAR LA! 1st: What? Canthear you! Its too loud! All: Sorry aboutthat! The noise!It is so irritating! What happen to calm?
