Douglas E. Arent has been approved for Core Faculty status at his university effective January 1, 2016. This promotion recognizes his tenure, teaching effectiveness, expertise in his discipline, and commitment to students and the university. Core status will result in a higher salary per course and place him among senior adjuncts. He is expected to continue demonstrating teaching excellence, remain current in his field, and attend biannual faculty conferences.
