This promotion recognizes his tenure, teaching effectiveness, expertise in his discipline, and commitment to students and the university. Core status will result in a higher salary per course and place him among senior adjuncts. He is expected to continue demonstrating teaching excellence, remain current in his field, and attend biannual faculty conferences.
