Batch 2015-17 Students Faculty About DoMS About IIT R Established in 1847 as College of Engineering, Roorkee. Asias first engineering college Completed 150 years of existence in Oct96. On 21 Sept01 declared as nations 7th IIT. Institute offers Bachelors Degree in 10 disciplines of engineering and Postgraduates degree in 55 disciplines. Institute provides facilities for doctoral and research work in all department. More than 8000 Residential students and core team of over 300 faculties.
Presently, the Department offers dual specialization in following specializations: (i) Marketing, (ii) Finance, (iii) Information Technology, (iv) Operations, (v) Human Resource Management. Established in 1998, with an aim to impart high quality formal education in management science through a comprehensive 2 year regular MBA programme. DoMS, IIT Roorkee boasts of having 78 PHD scholars which is highest among any other B- School in the country. DoMS IIT Roorkee, Headed by Dr. Zillur Rahman, has a strong team of 17 eminent & experience faculties & many visiting faculties. Department maintains a strong bond with IIT Roorkee alumni, which certainly helps students with strong industrial support & knowledge gaining. Various guest lectures from industrial experts including CEOs, Presidents, VPs & senior HRs are organized to provide students with industrial insight..
