The 3rd Caribbean Public Procurement Conference will focus on "Beyond Compliance: Ethics, Efficiency & eBusiness". The conference from October 1-2, 2012 in Trinidad will [1] provide participants exposure to procurement principles, policies and best practices, [2] present opportunities to stimulate reform discussions and enhance Caribbean capacity, and [3] foster development of procurement professionals. The conference will introduce new initiatives including a resource portal, integrity protection solution, and procurement certification program to move procurement practice "into the third gear".
