If you change your thoughts you
change your life.
Do you believe thats possible?
Could you actually fall in love with yourself
and your life, have more peace, more joy,
more abundance and be more productive
just by changing your thoughts?
Yes you can!
 Humans think between 12,000 and 60,000
thoughts per day.
 Research indicates that a high percentage of
these thoughts are directed inward and are
negative and self-deprecating, hurtful and
disempowering.
 Because that is what we so frequently focus on, it
is what we attract more of into our lives.
Our thoughts create a self-fulfilling prophecy. We
naturally look for evidence to support our beliefs.
If I believe things are hopeless, I notice
whats wrong and whats missing.
If I am open to the possibility of abundance
and joy, I am drawn to things that reinforce
that openness.
When I have a goal that I believe is impossible
to reach, I will seek evidence of that by focusing
on the challenges and my shortcomings.
If I believe the goal is within my reach to attain,
despite the difficulties, I will seek ways to create
that reality.
Our thoughts create our actions and our
actions create our outcomes.

For many, negative self-talk has become a
habit.
We arent even aware we are doing it or of the
effect it has on our lives.
Like any other habit, we can replace it with
new, more positive behaviors with conscious
thought and practice.
How to change your negative self-talk habit.
1. Get conscious of your negative habits. Listen to your inner
chatter and notice the messages you are sending yourself.
Example: "I'm not smart enough. "I can't do this."
2. Create positive messages (affirmations) that are the opposite of
the negative ones.
Example: "I am smart and creative. "I'm open to
learning new things every day.
3. Repeat the positive messages over and over until they become
the new habit.
To replace an old habit with a new one takes
practice.
Set aside time everyday to repeat your new,
positive message.
Over time, that new message will become a
habit.
Affirmations are a vehicle to use to bring the
things that you want into your life more
easily than you can imagine simply by
focusing your attention on them.
Suze Orman
Multi-millionaire personal finance guru
When Suze Orman started her career, she had no money. She felt
unworthy to work on Wall Street. But, determined to be
successful, she changed her thinking. Orman's most famous
affirmation is, "I have more money than I will ever need". She
repeated that over and over again and acted in ways that were
consistent with that thinking until it became true.
She created a positive self-fulfilling prophecy.

During difficult times at the company, Ford sets an intention every
morning to go through his day with compassion. Ford said he first
learned to develop compassion for himself through a lovingkindness practice.

Create a life changing habit

  • 1. If you change your thoughts you change your life. Do you believe thats possible?
  • 2. Could you actually fall in love with yourself and your life, have more peace, more joy, more abundance and be more productive just by changing your thoughts?
  • 4. Humans think between 12,000 and 60,000 thoughts per day. Research indicates that a high percentage of these thoughts are directed inward and are negative and self-deprecating, hurtful and disempowering. Because that is what we so frequently focus on, it is what we attract more of into our lives.
  • 5. Our thoughts create a self-fulfilling prophecy. We naturally look for evidence to support our beliefs.
  • 6. If I believe things are hopeless, I notice whats wrong and whats missing. If I am open to the possibility of abundance and joy, I am drawn to things that reinforce that openness.
  • 7. When I have a goal that I believe is impossible to reach, I will seek evidence of that by focusing on the challenges and my shortcomings. If I believe the goal is within my reach to attain, despite the difficulties, I will seek ways to create that reality.
  • 8. Our thoughts create our actions and our actions create our outcomes. Negative thoughts Negative outcomes Positive thoughts Positive outcomes
  • 9. For many, negative self-talk has become a habit. We arent even aware we are doing it or of the effect it has on our lives. Like any other habit, we can replace it with new, more positive behaviors with conscious thought and practice.
  • 10. How to change your negative self-talk habit. 1. Get conscious of your negative habits. Listen to your inner chatter and notice the messages you are sending yourself. Example: "I'm not smart enough. "I can't do this." 2. Create positive messages (affirmations) that are the opposite of the negative ones. Example: "I am smart and creative. "I'm open to learning new things every day. 3. Repeat the positive messages over and over until they become the new habit.
  • 11. To replace an old habit with a new one takes practice. Set aside time everyday to repeat your new, positive message. Over time, that new message will become a habit.
  • 12. Affirmations are a vehicle to use to bring the things that you want into your life more easily than you can imagine simply by focusing your attention on them.
  • 13. Suze Orman Multi-millionaire personal finance guru When Suze Orman started her career, she had no money. She felt unworthy to work on Wall Street. But, determined to be successful, she changed her thinking. Orman's most famous affirmation is, "I have more money than I will ever need". She repeated that over and over again and acted in ways that were consistent with that thinking until it became true. She created a positive self-fulfilling prophecy.
