Crudefunders is an equity crowdfunding platform that allows both accredited and non-accredited investors to invest in oil and gas projects. It was founded in Dallas, TX in 2014 by industry veterans to bring more transparency and capital to smaller oil and gas operators. The platform facilitates investments in oil and gas wells and service companies for as little as $1,000. To date, it has funded 3 projects totaling over $1 million and expects to raise $15-25 million in investments by the end of the year. Crudefunders provides a new avenue of capital for independent operators through conducting extensive due diligence on projects before allowing investments.
