  • #1: Culturally=how people they live, how they dress, what food they eat or what they believe in
  • #4: Get to know the students Involve family and community Make the learning environment in your classroom more culturally responsive means engaging families and communities in the academic lives of students.
  • #6: Teachers need to learn about their students’ racial and ethnic background, gender and sexual orientation, cultural preferences, personalities, and areas of interest. One way to do this is to build relationships with students, their families, and their communities. This emplies that we want students to know that we care about them. It is mainly focused on the visuals, what students and people see when they enter the school vicinity. Example: by having a bunch of flags of different countries in your class so they feel that they belong.or give them activities like drawing their ethnic identities ( ex. maskara) and post on the board teachers should show their support for language and cultural diversity. Deeply believe that all students are capable of success. Teachers should give an instruction must be differentiated and tailored to each students and individual needs.
  • #7: 5. Using specific teaching methods to accommodate the children’s learning style, multiple intelligence, and learning preferences. 6. Discipline is important to everywhere and this principle is all about managing the classroom in a proper way. The best classroom management is developing strong relationships with each students. 7. Refers to honoring individuality along with the collectivity of the students. Collective identity should be the goal. Be strategic in groupings so that students can learn from each other and how to communicate with students who have different ways of being, knowing, and doing. Most importantly , culturally responsive teachers must center their instruction on the diverse sociocultural realities of students’ lifeworlds.
