As a semi-professional racing driver I understand the importance of marketing in motorsport to attract, activate and retain sponsorship. I am a recent Sports Marketing graduate from Leeds Beckett University obtaining a first class degree. Having completed various marketing modules my final study focussed on the value of social media in motorsport sponsorship, a combination of major interests. Throughout my time at university I have gained experience in sponsorship sales and activation in the UK and globally and from a sponsor and property perspective. Combining studying, working abroad and racing utilised high levels of organisation and allowed me to gain skills in social media, video production, graphic design and event management whilst using a plethora of MS Office and Adobe Creative software. I have a first-hand level of motorsport knowledge as an athlete, sponsoring brand, organiser and fan. Sponsorship activation with the FIA World Rallycross Championship, Petter Solberg and Liam Doran. Created iONs most successful video, social media content and blogs as well as being a top sales person during trade shows. June 2014: Produced social media content and marketing materials for Croft Circuit BTCC which contributed to a 10% increase in gate attendance. This increased on the door attendance and reached audiences further afield, boosting the clubs income by 贈1500 in two nights alone. March 2014 to October 2014: PR and Social Media Manager for HHC Motorsport. I updated the teams social media channels which increased facebook following by 27%. I created a video as well as post-race press releases which were distributed to the media and published on the teams, championships and motorsport media websites. I also worked with the teams drivers to develop media and interview skills. December 2012 to date: driving instructor at Bedford Autodrome, Croft Circuit, Silverstone and Stunt Drive Experience. August 2012 to October 2014: Co-commentated for ITV Sport on various LIVE and recorded British Touring Car Championship support races. 2012 to 2014: Scorton Village Store, responsibility to take sole charge, using the EPOS system, re-stocking shelves and complete end of day banking. June 2009: Williams F1 Model Shop, created carbon fibre mini projects. Additionally worked on a night shift and drove the teams driver simulator. June 2009: Swan Yamaha British Super Bike Team, Assisted in the rebuild of a race bike and was asked to help the team at my local BSB event.
