1. Ministry of Electricity:
ï‚· Ali Sabi'a Diesel Power Station (2007-2008)
Mechanical Engineer at mechanical maintenance department, Responsible for the
Lube Oil System; Auxiliary devises and components (lube oil separators, piping
system, valves and gates, oil and water pumps...etc.) also I am experienced in
Heavy Fuel Oil machines (HFO) and its Auxiliaries.
ï‚· Taji Gas Power Station (2008-till now)
a. Mechanical Engineer; Dealing with gas turbine units for electric power
generation, which uses combined fuel system of consumption (natural Gas fuel &
liquid fuel Oil (LFO)) with multi stage turbine and multi stage compressor, add to
this the other rotating equipment which are the auxiliary devices such as pumps
some electric motors etc.
b. under training engineer (1 year) at the operation department in this power
station; I started to know how to make the calculations for the production power
per day and what are the most effective records and parameters for the unit to
keep it work safely and continuously.
c. after passing the test I started to work as a supervisor shift engineer in the same
department responsible of a group of engineers and technicians taking all the
duties for operating our units which are as follows:
3 units H25 by Hitachi.
4 units F5 by GE.
4 units F6B by GE.
I had the authorization and responsibility for all the activities and decisions in the
power station concerning my staff and the equipments after the regular time of
work or when the head manager is not available on the station.
Also I had to make reports for any abnormal behavior for the units or any defects
it might happen for any reason.
As I was working in the above position for 24 hours then I had to be off work for 3
days, thus I had another offers from another companies; which are follows:

Sales and Service Engineer in this company, which is an agent for Dresser-Rand
Corporation, D.R., is a famous corporation specialist in steam turbine and
compressors which used for oil and gas field.

working as a Mechanical Engineer responsible for a group of technicians working
for installing pumps (vertical and horizontal) and making alignment between the
motor shaft and the impeller shaft after erection on the foundation.

- spare part manager; responsible for spare parts activities and keep the inventory
without any shortage.
