Education: 1978 - 1982 studied at the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering of Beijing University of Technology which is one of the first class university in China(The education level of the university is admitted by countries of the British Commonwealth of Nations), majored in civil engineering and got bachelor degree. 7. Professional experience: Since graduated from the university, I have been engaging in the fields of civil engineering, property development and construction management: I. From 1999 ¨C now, I work in a big Construction Company in Hong Kong as a project manager. Up to now, I have already managed following construction projects: a. Residence of Aldrich Bay Phase 2 in Hong Kong island (contract sum is HK$86.4millin and total floor area is about 130 thousands square meters). b. High level Residence of Ho Man Tin in Kowloon, Hong Kong(contract sum is HK$33.7millin and total floor area is about 35 thousands square meters). c. Residence of Ngau Tau Kok in Kowloon, Hong Kong (contract sum is HK$64.6millin and total floor area is about 126 thousands square meters). d. From 1998 - 1999, I worked in Group Promodes as a manager of Technical and Engineering Department (The Group Promodes is a French company and is also one of the world 500 power enterprise and is engaged in large supermarket in the world). III. From 1993 - 1998, I worked in a Real Estate Company of Beijing as a project manager and mainly did the following projects: (1) Development of Beijing Olympic Games Village. (2) Directing project of Convention Hall of Fourth World Women Convention. (3)Development of North Star High Science and Technology City (4) Development of Residential Quarter of Century Village. (5) In charge of extend project of Asian Games Village. IV. From 1982 - 1993, I worked in the Department of Civil Engineering of a Beijing Architectural Designing Institute which is a first-class designing institute in China as a civil structure engineer, and was engaged in building structure design, directing and taking part in many projects (including major project of the state). The projects not only relate to civil building, such as high office building and residence, but also include fields of industry building, such as power station, paper mill, glassworks, food products, oil plant. The place of projects can be found all over the China. I have also designed and constructed buildings of various structural types, such as reinforced concrete; steelworks; and brick construction. 10. Scientific research a. Besides doing the management work of construction project in Hong Kong, once I was also in charge of construction management software research and did software of construction management by using internet, now this software is used in 30 construction sites of Hong Kong .This software won the first praise award of the State in 2004. 2
- 3. b. During working in design institute, I was also engaged in CAD software laboratory research about drawing by computer in civil engineering and did the software of foundation. This software laboratory won the state third-class award of civil engineering in scientific research. 11.
