Roles:
 To ensure that work is carried out to the client's standards, specification, correct
materials, workmanship and schedule (work program).
 Becoming familiar with all the relevant drawings, method of statements and written
instructions, checking them and using them as a reference when inspecting work.
 Conducting visual inspections for all installation works.
 Verifying the contractors progress claim by going through the bill of quantity and
contract documents before submit it to consultants for certification.
 Taking measurements and samples on site to make sure that the work and the
materials meet the specifications and quality standards.
 Being familiar with legal requirements and checking that the work complies with
them.
 Having a working knowledge of health and safety legislation and bringing any
shortfalls observed to the attention of all parties.
 Advising the contractor about certain aspects of the work either it is wrong or right.

DESCRIPTION: Assessment of joint strength due to fatigue and static load had to be carried
out on natural fibre composite laminated prepared in-house
OBJECTIVE: This project were carried out to determine the joint strength and analyse failure
mode on each joint of Natural Fibre Composites

TITLE: Mechanical Engineering Go-kart Design Project (Design, build and test
performance of homemade go-kart)
POSITION: Group Leader of Steering System
TEAM SIZE: 4
ACHIEVEMENT: 5th position out of 14 groups for overall category (Time Attack,
Slalom and Braking)
 Become familiar with handling mechanical machines such as drilling, lathing,
welding, metal cutting, bending and others as well.
 Enhancing skills in CATIA 3D drawing software
 Developing a great teamwork skill in order to complete the project
