- 2.  Monitor the Spare parts inventory in store, spare requisition preparation and and co-ordinate w ith purchase for the purchase orders and ordered parts in order the ensure the availability of spares and to minimize the unplanned dow ntime due to unavailability of spares.  MIS report generation for availability and breakdow ns(MTTR,MTBF) of equipments, root cause Analysis(RCA) of major failures of equipment’s and developing engineering solutions to major and repetitive failures to increase the reliability of equipment. Identifying the areas w here improvements or modifications can be done to improve the reliability.  Preparation and revision of SMP’s of the activities.  Analysis of repetitive breakdowns data analysis and find the root cause and give engineering solution to the problem.  To develop the new methods or solution to the breakdow nsin order to follow the guidelines of WMS.  Ensure w ork permit, Isolation (LOTO) and job safety analysis is done before starting any maintenance or repair activity. To make the w orkpermit and Job safety analysis before starting the Job (installation, repair, modifications).Involved in preparation of Height rescue plan and w as a member of height rescue team. Involved in preparation of Emergency rescue plan in case of disaster or emergency.
