PTAC PURPOSE


Expand Amount of Businesses Capable
 of Participating in Government
 Marketplace
PERMITTED SERVICES

 Identify contractual opportunities with:
    -federal, state and or local governments
    -subcontracting opportunities with prime
  contractors
 Locate potential marketing opportunities
 Assist with bidding opportunities
 Advise clients regarding post award functions
PERMITTED SERVICES
 Assist in the preparation of:
     -registrations (i.e. CCR) and certifications
  (i.e. Hubzone)
     -proposals/bids & financial & contractual
  forms
     -Guidance relative to QA & production i.e.
  specific government
  requirements/specifications
PERMITTED SERVICES
 Educate clients in areas such as:
    -Federal/State/Local Govt contracting laws &
  policies/procedures (emphasis on DoD and other
  Federal agencies)
     - Ebusiness (routine exchange of procurement
  Information)
     -DoD Pilot Mentor-Prot辿g辿 Program and
     similar Government programs
     -Understanding regulations and publications
     that govern Federal/State/Local Procurement
P      PTAC CANNOT Provide
   Market on behalf of clients
   Employee development related training
   General business training
   Small business development counseling
   Training topics such as: access to loans, ISO
    9000,Lean, Six Sigma, or manufacturing (except
    where the manufacturing assistance specifically
    relates to government specific compliance)

AZPTAC Counselors refer clients who are not
ready for Government Procurement to AZSBDC
