How to become a volunteer in Danish Cancer Society?

The first thing you need to do is seek a volunteer job. You will find
an overview of current and available jobs in the menu. Here you
can search for the type of activity or jobs near you.

Once you have been looking for a volunteer job, you will be called
to a consultant or counselor in your area, where you will assess
whether you are right at work and if the job is right for you.

Next, you must create a profile here at frivillig.dk. Frivillig.dk is the
Cancer Fighting Volunteer Portal, and here you will find everything
you need for your volunteer work.

with people who are affected by cancer. You help
cancer-affected in your local area by, for example,
networking, presence, support or activities.

As a volunteer, one can help teach the Danes the most important signs of cancer and
motivate to go to the doctor on time.

And play an important role in getting the campaign to live locally and get the important
message through conversations and by meeting the Danes directly. For example, you can
hand out materials, engage companies, make events or write readers to the local press.
Alcohol Campaign - Full of Life

As a volunteer, one can help teach the Danes the most important signs of cancer and

Volunteer job- fundraising - Country collection

Every year, approx. 27,000 collectors on the street to raise money for the cancer case. In
addition to the many collectors, more than 3,000 volunteers are involved in planning
country collection - for example. by distributing routes and distributing materials.

Pink Saturday

Pink Saturday is an event under the campaign 'St淡t Brysterne', where volunteers,
associations and companies focus on breast cancer.

It culminates Saturday in week 40, where more than 170 cities are made pink by creative
ideas and collections. As a volunteer on Pink Saturday you have free hands to make fun
and different events. Eg. women's dress, brass race, auction, knitwear or other
community activities.

Relay For Life is a day where we focus on cancer, fight
together and celebrate life. It is a reason to remind those we
have lost and give hope to those who struggle.

The staple of life gives hope through enlightenment,
