This document discusses how to measure real adoption and growth of decentralized applications (dApps) in the real world. It suggests that community size measured by users on platforms like Telegram and Discord, number of actual users, and daily transaction volume are some commonly used metrics. However, these don't fully capture real-world usage. Better metrics could include number of smart contract operations and various operational ratios. Examples of metrics and data sources are provided.
