To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is to express my unreserved recommendation of Darrell Little. He is extremely hardworking,
accountable, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. Darrell taught karate classes at St. Johns Well
Child and Family Center, an independent 501(c)(3) community health center in South Los Angeles, for two
years. Furthermore, he helped our clinic develop our physical fitness program. Without Darrell, we would
have never provided fun, interactive, and uplifting karate classes for thousands of children and young adults in
South Los Angeles. He truly means it when he says that he has a passion for empowering people. His energy
and compassion is contagious.
In my experience working with Darrell, I found him to be a very clear communicator, he responded promptly
to my emails, and I could always rely on him. I think his resume speaks to the breadth and depth of
experiences he has had. However, not only does Darrell have an impressive resume- he has studied martial arts
for over 40 years, taught physical activity in a handful of different settings from competitive to recreational
environments, and has both a Bachelors degree in kinesiology and a Masters degree in Education Base
Technology- but I can attest that he has the interpersonal skills that would make him a valuable asset in any
work environment.
Should you have any questions, I can be reached at ncremer@wellchild.org. I hope that you consider Darrell
for your workplace. He would make a dedicated, reliable, and innovative addition to your team.
Sincerely,
Nicole Cremer
