People early in their career should learn from computer science: meander some in your walk (especially early
on), randomly drop yourself into new parts of the terrain, and when you find the highest hill, dont waste any
more time on the current hill no matter how much better the next step up might appear.

#4: We are an early stage startup.
Viral is the co-founder & CEO of 500 Miles. Before this, Viral was VP of Products at Hightail, started Trusthop that was acquired by LinkedIn, was Director of Product & Marketing & Zimbra that was acquired by Yahoo. He is a geek with an MS from UT and holds and MBA from Kellogg.
I am Murali Sangubhatla, head of Engineering. Prior to co-founding 500 Miles, I led the cloud services team at Box and was founding member of Windows Azure networking team.
I am a Gopher, got my MS from UMN. I had been involved in campus recruiting throughout and 500 Miles is where my passion for campus recruiting and technology came together.
Our advisory board and investors comprise eminent leaders in the Silicon Valley.

Teaser rhetorical question #2: Do you want to wait for 7 years (like Mohak) before you do that or right out of the gate?

It is an honor to be in front of some of the brightest minds in the world. As I talk about the engineering behind this amazing product, our hope is that you will walk away with the silicon valley way of algorithms to big data.
