At Datavibes we believe that communication is the first step towards success and thus we have two internal social networks within the company and all our employees are encouraged to join that so that they can learn and share ideas with other people in the company. The two social networking sites that we are currently using are Yammer and Inner Circle.  All our employees are asked to use their Datavibes email to join the social networks as it will help them connect with other employees and know what is happening within the company. Performance review system is a transparent process of determining to what extent an employee has been able to achieve their goals. We also currently use a Time entry system called BigTime and it is expected that all our employees enter their time in the system as it helps us in keeping track of vacation taken as well. Vacation Policy  Paid Vacation Years of Service  :  Days per calendar year 0 through 4 years  :  10 days 5 through 14 years :  15 days 15+ years  :  20 days The leaves are accrued at the end of an employment year and if an employee does take leave in the first year of employment then the employee is allowed to borrow from the 10 days he/she is entitled to in the first year. However an employee is only allowed to borrow in the first year and after the first year the holidays are pro-rated : If after your first year work for 3 months and then take a leave you are entitled to 10+3 days of leave.
Salary Structure/Payroll The salary structure at our company has three components  - Basic Pay  - Project Allowance - Cost of Living Allowance  (COLA)  - Performance Bonus We review our salaries twice a year when we conduct our performance appraisals. Our payroll runs on the 1st and 16th of every month. Note : COLA exists only for expensive cities
Immigration/Visa Services We are an E Verified employer as many of our employees are on OPT and that is beneficial for them. At Datavibes many of our employees require work visas to work in the company and we have hired some of the best lawyers to ensure that work /immigration visas are filed as per the required norms. It is important to know that the visa process does take between 3-6 months and is time consuming.  We do file for Green Card (permanent residency) petitions as well but it is a benefit for our employees and they need to send us a request for the same.
