At a young age, David had the opportunity to work with Kanye West, performing on two tracks for his debut album. During this experience, Kanye provided guidance that inspired David to pursue writing and producing music, which are his passions. David went on to produce tracks for many popular artists and regularly produces music for television shows. Current projects include working with artists like Leona Lewis and Joe Budden. Born and raised in Harlem, David "Boom" Pinks has become a renaissance artist through his experiences performing in the Boys Choir of Harlem alongside legendary entertainers.

Additionally, he is a regular music producer for cable television, working for MTV's hit show's "The Shop, 8th & Ocean, My Super Sweet 16, TRL, Made, Sucker Free Countdown, Making the Band 4, E!'s "Keeping up with the Kardashians", and several other shows.
