- 9. SENIOR BOYS BASKETBALL The sr. boys basketball traveled to Parry Sound this weekend for a tournament. After dropping the first game to Sudbury’s Notre Dame, the went on to the finals to beat Jean Vanier 38-34, but lost in the consolation final to Bracebrige. Honorable mention to Derek Niessl, who averaged 10 points a game throughout the tournament with almost 5 steals a game. Devlyn Lohnes averaged 8 points/game, over 5 rebounds/game and 3 steals/game. With only 8 players, everyone contributed, including Gavin Proud and Jacob Underhill who got pulled up from the junior team. Great tournament effort guys! Please dismiss both the Jr & Sr. Boys today at 1:40 for games.
