8. MILITARY SERVICE Despite Dennys claims to be a lover and not a fighter, he joined the Air Police and went to Vietnam.
9. YOUNG DENNY In the late 1960s, Charlie remarried and Denny and his siblings gained not only a step-mom, but also another brother and sister.
10. YOUNG DENNY Regardless of their age, Dennys siblings could always count on him to make them laugh.
24. MEMORIES Uncle Denny was my Godfather and he always remembered my birthday! In recent memory, he and Aunt Diane were here for me at the most important milestones in my life, when Brian and I got married & when I was pregnant with Alessa. He holds a very dear place in my heart & we will truly miss him. You know, his humor was always much appreciated at family gatherings - Joy DiGenti
26. DENNY AT WORK Denny spent many years working at AT&T and retired in 1999.
27. MEMORIES Anne I got the checks [from Jean and Charlies estate] yesterday. . . Not taking any chances, going to spend it ALL on lottery tickets!!! Thank you so much for handling the estate.. Hope all is well. The DCs -From Anne Cotter
31. MEMORIES I especially remember how tickled Jean was when Denny gave her a Marshall Fields toy truck after they moved to Rancho Bernardo. He said he didnt want her to be lonely without the truck pulling up to the house every other day with her purchases. He even quipped that they would probably go out of business without her (Of course, they eventually did). - Anne Cotter
