RW Armstrong is the Architect of Record for the Masdar Institute MIST1B designed by Foster and Partners Architects.
    • Oversaw the construction of a 70,000 sq. m., $250M sustainable university complex including laboratories, classrooms,
        residences and a multi-use hall, ensuring timely completion within budget.
    • Ensured the design intent was preserved and avoided opportunities for the contractor to claim variations.
    • Managed the RFI processes from the contractor, coordination with the design architects, structural and MEP engineers,
        preparation of provisional variation orders, responses to variation requests from the contractor.
Senior Design Manager, Masdar Headquarters Building, Masdar City (Unbuilt)
RW Armstrong is the Architect of Record for the Masdar Headquarters Building designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architects.
    • The Headquarters Building is an international award-winning sustainable office building design for Masdar City.
    • Senior Design Manager overseeing the review and coordination of design architects’ drawings, coordination with
        structural engineers, MEP engineers, and permitting team. Assured design comments were incorporated.
    • Managed on site construction administration for the 120,000 sq. m. foundation and under slab utility work: $50,000,000
        construction cost, prior to project termination.
