Short Itinerary
3. Day 1- Mumbai/Delhi to Dehradun-
Rishikesh
On arrival at Dehradun airport Followed
by a drive to Rishikesh. After arrival at
Rishikesh Check in at hotel. Evening is
free to explore surroundings at your
own. Visit lakshman jhula, Ram jhula ,
one can go for rafting also. Dinner and
overnight night halt.

Detailed Itinerary
4. Day 2- Rishikesh to Sari village Deoria Tal (175km drive 2.5 km trek )
Wake-up early in the morning After breakfast drive to sari village via Ukhimath,
lunch enroute. From Sari we would begin the trek to Deoriatal that would take 1-2
hrs depending on your pace.
Deoria tal is a beautiful lake amidst thick forest. The reflection of Chaukhamba
peaks in the lake is notable for photography enthusiasts. On arrival here, we setup
camp for the night and celebrate the evening under the stars. Overnight in tents.
6. Day 3- Deoria Tal to Roni Buygal
Trek from Deoria tal to Roni Bugyal . The 4-5 hours walk would be through thick
forest, and would delight nature lovers. Roni Bugyal is a small clearing in the middle
of the forest. Overnight Camp
8. Day 4- Roni Buygal To Chopta medows
Trek from Roni Bugyal to the higher meadows of Chopta. The trek would take us
across Tikar khal to reach the vast meadows of Chopta. Chopta is famous for its
undulating meadows and views of the snow clad Himalayan ranges and lies inside a
reserved forest region. Also known as the Switzerland of India, it's a great place to
camp on. Enjoy the Sunset from here is truly celestial. Overnight in tents
10. Day 5- Chopta medows to Tungnath to Chandrashila & Back to Chopta
After an early breakfast we climb up to the highest Shiva shrine at Tungnath (3680m). It's
one of the most beautifully situated temples with big mountain ranges right in front and
shining meadows all around. This temple has very interesting architecture and rich history
behind it.
13. CHANDRASHILLA :- After taking a short rest we climb up for a km through a steep trail to
reach the summit of Chandrashilla peak (3950m). The view from the summit is
outstanding with one getting almost a 360 view of Himalayan ranges. Many of the famous
summits like the Chaukhamba, Nanda Devi, Neelkanth, Kedarnath & Bandarpoonch are
visible from here. Late afternoon we head back to Chopta. Dinner & Over night stay in
tents
15. Day 6- Chopta to Rishikesh
Morning after breakfast board our waiting vehicle and drive back to Rishikesh. Tour
terminates upon arrival in Rishikesh. Transfer to the hotel dinner & over night stay
Day 7- Chopta to Rishikesh
Morning after breakfast departure, dropping to the airport / railway station

Breakfast: Porridge, muesli, corn flakes, jam, honey, peanut butter, puri, paratha, chapatti,
eggs, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, aloo parantha.
Pack lunch: Pack lunch stuffed Paratha, Maggi , with boiled potatoes, boiled eggs, chapatti,
cheese, chocolate, cold drinks, Maggi etc..
Dinner: Rice, noodles, chapatti, vegetable salads, noodle soups, several kinds of soups
(mushroom, tomato, asparagus, etc.), several kinds of vegetables (cauliflower, cabbage, peas,
spinach) in curries , Roti, Dal , Pickle , Papad, & many more .
Mineral Water 1 bottle per day per head, chocolates, fruit juice, nuts , toffees during the
trek

cancellation due to bad weather, ill health, roadblocks and/or any factors

18. THINGS TO CARRY ON YOUR OWN
Backpack (55 - 65 L) with sturdy straps and supporting frame.(optional)
Daypack (20 L) is required to carry your water bottle, Pack lunch , Camera, your
jacket
Trekking shoes
A few pair of track pants Or cotton pants, Full sleeve cotton tees with collar.
Full sleeve sweaters and fleece jacket
A full sleeve thick jacket.
Few set of undergarments, socks, warm caps, gloves and thermals
Sun glasses with good UV protection
Light towel (should be thin, quick drying kind).
Chopstick or lip balm.
Cold cream and sun screen lotion (SPF 40+).
1Water bottles (1 Ltr).
Personal toilet kit (minimal) and toilet paper.
LED Torch with extra set of cells (head lamps preferable).
Small repair kit consisting of safety pins, needle, thread and string (mandatory).
Camera, memory-cards, batteries etc (carry enough spare batteries. Electricity is not
available on the slopes)
Slippers/sports sandals (for walking around campsite).
