Ir. Soekarno was the first president of Indonesia and a courageous leader. He had a tall, stocky build and always wore a safari uniform with a cap. Soekarno was born in Surabaya, East Java to R. Soekemi Sosrodhardjo and Ida Ayu Nyoman Rai. He had nine wives and several children from his marriages.
