The second edition of the Sur Jyotsna National Music Awards ceremony was held in March 2015. Ojas Adhiya and Pooja Gaitonde received awards in the male and female categories respectively, along with a cash prize of 1 lakh each, a certificate, shawl, and trophy. Many dignitaries attended the ceremony, including several Union Ministers and members of the Darda family, who have organized the awards. During the ceremony, students from the Jawaharlal Darda Sangeet Kala Academy performed.
2. This ceremony held on March 2015, was
the second edition of the Sur Jyotsna
National Music Awards. Ojas Adhiya
received the award in the male category
while Pooja Gaitonde received it in the
female category. Both are talented artists.
The awards included a cash prize of 1 lakh
each, a certificate, a shawl, and a trophy.

Hansraj Ahir, Union minister for
chemicals and fertilizers;
Chandrashekhar Bawankule, district
guardian minister; Sudhir Mungantiwar,
finance minister; Dr. Ranjit Patil,
minister of state for home; Sanjay
Rathod, minister of state for revenue;
and Ambarish Atram, minister of state
for tribal development.
5. For Darda family, besides Vijay, Rajendra,
and Devendra Darda; other members
attended also the impressive ceremony.
These members included Rishi Darda,
joint managing director of Lokmat
Media; Karan Darda, executive director;
Ashoo Darda, and Sheetal Darda. Among
the attendees were also Purva Kothari
and Sunit Kothari, jewelry designers;
6. Krupal Tumame, Ramtek member of
parliament; Pravin Dakte, mayor;
John Abraham, Bollywood actor;
Roop Kumar Rathod, noted ghazal
singe; Sunali Rathod, renowned
vocalist; Shashi Vyas, member of jury;
and Gauri Yadwalkar from Times
Music Company.
8. Other personalities graced the occasion
such as Ramesh Jain, former president of
Jalgaon municipal council; Vainkunth
Kumbhar, director of national tourism
advisory council; Professor Sandeep
Pisalkar, trophy designer; Snehal Jalan,
Kapil Bhalla, Jaishree Bhalla, Vishal
Kalantri, and Ruchi Kalantri.
9. In order to mark the inauguration of the
awards ceremony, the notables lighted the
traditional lamp. During the ceremony,
learners of Jawaharlal Darda Sangeet Kala
Academy presented a worshipful song.
