1. Ambassadors Mission The mission of the DHF Ambassador program is to impact the diabetes community directly by representing TuDiabetes locally, growing strong and deep roots into actual communities to complement the work we do online.
1. Ambassadors Mission An ambassador is in a unique position to truly help DHF fulfill its mission of providing a space for people touched by diabetes to connect and live healthy lives through support, information, and creative expression.
Lead a group by area you are representing Maintain an Embassy profile page on TuDiabetes Research and post events Report activities and achievements to DHF staff 2. Ambassadors Duties
Choose at least one: Organize meet-ups at local events. Create your own local meet-ups. Organize online and local fundraisers Create a Promoters Group Create an Educators Group Identify Future Opportunities 2. Ambassadors Duties
Report activities and achievements on the Ambassadors Monthly Update Form This information will be made into an Ambassadors newsletter in order to aide all embassies in effectively connecting to their members. 3. Sharing Your Work
The form will ask you to report the following: Name* Date* Embassy* What events have you posted this month?* What meet-ups have your organized this month? What fundraising activities have you organized this month? What promotional or educational information have you distributed this month? What future opportunities or educational needs have you identified this month? Over all how was your experience as an ambassador this month?* Do you need any support from DHF staff in the coming month?* 3. Sharing Your Work *Questions that should be filled in each month.
