The diary of an unborn baby describes its development from conception to 20 weeks of gestation, when its mother ends its life. Over the weeks, the baby's circulatory system grows, its heart begins beating, fingers and toes form, and organs develop, allowing it to feel and move. It learns it will be a girl, and hair and eyes develop. In the final entry, the baby expresses happiness until its mother kills it.

because I am inside of her.

began to grow. I can now stretch and
straighten my back.
8. 8 June: Little fingers are now appearing at
the end of my hands. Thats wonderful. In a
short time I'll be able to touch and hold
things.
9. 15 June: Today my Mother felt me moving
around and she sure that I am inside her.
How happy I am.
10. 24 June: Now organ inside of me are beginning
to grow. My stomach and my liver and my lungs
and things like that. Now I am able to feel pain.
11. 20 June: Now I know I'm going to be a
little girl.
12. 6 July: Now hair is starting to grow on top of my
head and above my eyes. Now I am starting to
make myself pretty.
13. 8 July: My eyes are ready for use ; but they are
both still shut. But it won't be long before I can
enjoy the sight of many nice things, and
especially the face of my Mother.

now. I am growing in all directions. I am
