The Saved Boltanskies is a series of artwork posters by Christian Boltanski that were displayed in the streets of Copenhagen in 2000 as part of his exhibition. The posters were at risk of being covered by advertisements, but Thierry Geoffroy / COLONEL saved over 100 of them. He brought many back to museums. The Saved Boltanskies questions how images travel between different contexts like family photos becoming art and then street art.
