More than a strategy to keep the smartwatch industry alive, different kinds of models also allows prospective buyers to acknowledge their own individuality. Choosing a smartwatch is not far from recognizing the reflection of the personality of the one wearing and using it.

smartwatch has a low resolution
monitor. The Meta Watch Frame is
not an easy device to use since its
touch screen dynamics did not
coincide well with the miniature size.
Fortunately, it has a reasonably
functional set of applications like
weather forecast, schedule
reminders, Gmail and missed calls.

Anyone who fancies a device requiring nothing short of both
efficiency and simplicity, this model is not a very bad choice.
However, the MetaWatch Frame barely made a lasting
impression as far as popularity and coolness factor is
concerned.

Samsung Galaxy Gear
Another first-rate smartwatch comes from
the greatest renowned manufacturer of
smartphones – Samsung. The Samsung
Galaxy Gear has made a significant
milestone when it comes to developing
smartwatch technology.

Just like the Pebble, this model is capable of
linking with a smartphone. However, this
prototype has pushed it to another level by
allowing users to switch visuals easily from

Overview On March 1, 1938, founding chairman Byung-Chull Lee started a business in Daegu, Korea, focused primarily on trade export. Mr. Lee sold dried Korean fish, vegatables and fruit to Manchuria and Beijing. In a little more than a decade, Samsung owned its own flour mills and confectionery machines and its own manufacturing and sales operations. From these humble beginnings, Samsung would ultimately evolve to become the modern global corporation that would still bear the same name today ("Samsung",��2015). By the 1970’s, Samsung started investing heavily in chemical and petrochemical industries. It was at this point Samsung began to dabble in the home electronics market. Samsung started to manufacture its own electronics and exporting for the first time. In the 1980’s, Samsung restructured its business models to become the world’s top five electronics companies. 2. With the influx of smartwatches in the market, it is only natural to encounter a variety among models. Competition among manufacturers is tight and given that the smartwatch is practically a new innovation, this gizmo only had a few topnotch varieties.

3. After all, the formation of this device did not exactly go through a smooth transition from smart phones the way the latter evolved from good old laptops. Variety encourages more marketing and furthers mass production. Of all the models that are introduced to the world, three have gained global attention.

4. Pebble The Pebble smartwatch is remains to be the first class model of its type all for several substantial reasons. What makes this model unique is that it is capable of filtering its online and offline notifications. Rejected incoming calls are being reported with an inferior signal that does not disrupt important or highly focused activities (e.g. driving, biking, mountain-climbing, surgical operations).

5. Another impressive capability of most Pebble models is that it can silence ringing smart phones with its link application. Most brands are water resistant and it has an excellent battery life. The Pebble smartwatch is still the most sold out model today, despite its Spartan design and minimalist digital layout.

6. MetaWatch Frame The MetaWatch Frame is another brand inching itself within the tight competition of the world’s greatest models. Compared to other smartwatches, this brand has a few notable setbacks of its own.

7. For one thing, many failed to appreciate its digital layout. For a contemporary version, this smartwatch has a low resolution monitor. The Meta Watch Frame is not an easy device to use since its touch screen dynamics did not coincide well with the miniature size. Fortunately, it has a reasonably functional set of applications like weather forecast, schedule reminders, Gmail and missed calls.

8. Anyone who fancies a device requiring nothing short of both efficiency and simplicity, this model is not a very bad choice. However, the MetaWatch Frame barely made a lasting impression as far as popularity and coolness factor is concerned.

9. Samsung Galaxy Gear Another first-rate smartwatch comes from the greatest renowned manufacturer of smartphones – Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy Gear has made a significant milestone when it comes to developing smartwatch technology.

10. Just like the Pebble, this model is capable of linking with a smartphone. However, this prototype has pushed it to another level by allowing users to switch visuals easily from one device to another when it comes to reading messages. Unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy Gear does not sport a chic design.

11. Despite its trifling snag of cramming way too many applications than necessary, it remains to be functional (especially its special voice control). One serious downside to this model is that it has a very demanding battery life.

12. Different kinds of smartwatches appeal to different kinds of people using them. It is important to recognize which coincides very well with one’s character while considering the price it entails to buy one.
