Digimap for Schools is a mapping tool that can be used in Scottish classrooms and outdoors education to put maps and locations at the center of teaching social studies. It provides access to Ordnance Survey maps of Great Britain at different scales that can be viewed, annotated, printed, and used to add maps and measure distances for reports. The presentation encouraged teachers to think about how often they use maps in place-based learning and what map details and information they need, and rated their own map skills.
